PD Desktop Publisher (PDTP)

Introduction
------------
Welcome to the PD Desktop Publisher. We hope you find it useful for such applications as creating title pages, outlines or page headers.

Although no facilities are provided for manipulating graphics etc it is still possible to load previously-saved graphic screens, and work around them.

The program works in Mode 4, and only allows one screen to be designed at any time.

A word of warning: Try not to have your current sprite at the BOTTOM of the screen whilst using the menu options as unpredictable results may occur due to the method used to display the sprite.



Helpful Hints
-------------
When altering the height or width of letters to above the default value of four, make sure you turn the bold option *on*, otherwise you will not get a clean outline.

When using options such as bold, width, height, etc, keep on pressing the relevant function key until a desired value is displayed. Pressing RETURN will then switch back to the current sprite.


Game Controls

Cursor Keys - Move current sprite
SHIFT - Increase movement speed
RETURN - Plot sprite
TAB - Invert colours
@ - Clear screen
DELETE - Clear screen section
1,2,3,4 - Alter deletion area size

f0 - Change font with cursor keys
f1 - Bold on/off
f2 - Change letter width
f3 - Change letter height
f4 - Save Screen
f5 - Load Screen
f6 - Enter text
f7 - Align text left
f8 - Centre text
f9 - Align text right
