Time Traveller ============== The Game -------- An adventure in time... Stranded 4,000 years in the past, you have to survive the perils of the Bronze Age, Roman Britain and Norman, Tudor and Victorian England in order to get back to the present. Wild animals, soldiers, priests, princes and germs are after you, and on top of all that, you've got to get your historical facts right before you can slip through the time warp into the next age. Ages 7 - Adult (Suggested) How To Play ----------- You are stranded in the past. In order to get back to the twentieth century, you have to pass through five ages. In each one, you must answer some questions relating to the age, and escape from your pursuers. At the beginning of each age, you will have to answer a 'Gateway' question. From a list of five items, you must choose the one which is characteristic of the age. Then you find yourself lost somewhere in that age. You have to reach the Time Gate to escape. Before you can leave an age, however, you must answer three questions correctly. Then you can move on to the next age. Scoring ------- As you go along, you win points. In order to get back to the twentieth century, you need 200,000 points. If you don't score this much as you travel through the ages, you must go back into the age or ages of your choice, and earn more points. Remember! You earn more points for getting a question right first time. Instructions ------------ When you are escaping to the Time Gate, you can score extra points by staying in the area for as long as possible without getting caught before you go through the Time Gate. You gain points for the length of time you stay in the maze. If you don't escape, you keep 10% of the time points you have scored. Scenarios --------- The Bronze Age It is the year 1507BC.
