Draughts

The Game
--------
At last you have the chance to pit your wits against the computer in the classic game of Draughts.

The program loads in two parts. The first part draws the outline of the board and provides short instructions if requested.

When the second program has loaded, you are asked to select the level of play where level 1 is easiest. An additional option is Blitz Draughts where you have to make your move within ten seconds, otherwise one of your pieces is taken off the board.

After selecting black or white, the pieces are laid on the board. You convey your move to the computer by entering the square number for the piece you wish to move followed by the destination square number. If you are in a position to take again the computer prompts for the 'FROM' and 'TO' numbers.

One box at the right-hand side of the screen is used for messages such as "You must take" and "I win". At the end of each game you are asked if you would like to play again.
