A wonderful shoot 'em up - fast, furious, beautifully designed and stunningly compulsive. Read Review
Galaforce 2 is everything that Galaforce was, and more - more aliens, more patterns, much more speed, more features (including collectable capsules - some help, some hinder), excellent sound effects and music.

You are a lone fighter pilot in a sixteen galaxy battle for the supremacy of the universe. You must fly your starfighter through the hordes of oncoming aliens, each galaxy containing several formations of enemy fighters. Avoid them or shoot them down to stay alive!
Watch out for the alien Capsules. These may be collected by shooting them twice or colliding with them. They all contain special features: e.g. extra laser power; extra life; or they may contain harmful features such as no laser power or slow movement.
The feature last collected remains until another capsule is captured. The capsules are released in strict order, so it is useful to note which capsule contains which feature.
You have three spaceships to start, but can have a maximum of five.
Z - Left, X - Right, * - Up, ? - Down, RETURN - Fire
ESCAPE - Quit Game, SPACE - Start Game, K - Keyboard/Joystick, J - First Byte/Plus 1 (Electron only), S - Toggle Sound, P - Toggle Pause
When on the Header Screen selection of 1 or 2 player game may be made with the CTRL key. You can select which galaxy you wish to start in, provided you have already completed that galaxy. To select a galaxy, press RETURN on the header screen, then move up and down the galaxies using the cursor keys.
On the BBC version, the f5 key selects wide mode or narrow mode.
The game may be played with a joystick or from the keyboard.
Tape: CHAIN"" (RETURN)
Disc: Hold SHIFT and tap BREAK.
