The Friendly Computer Book (Granada)
A very friendly guide to the basics of Basic and a gentle introduction to micros for newcomers.
A highly original and compelling game.
Very impressive... Quick and simple to use and well explained, it adds a whole new dimension to the Electron, giving me all the facilities that previously were only available on the BBC Micro.
An original game for kiddies which will keep them occupied for hours.
Chuckie Egg is a great game, compelling and entertaining and should appeal to all ages.
40 Educational Games For The Electron (Granada)
The programs are excellent examples for any aspiring beginner, being well structured and often modular in construction.
I found this to be a fascinating program to work with, but I must warn you that it soon becomes almost as dynabyte as your favourite games.
The program is listable, and it is relatively easy to alter screens to allow colour coding of the various pages.
It's an amusing and entertaining game for those with fast fingers and a dislike of creepy-crawlies.
This package is excellent value for money, being a very useful tool for the budding programmer.
Elementary Statistics (Garland Computing)
All the programs are written entirely in Basic and can be used on either cassette or disc based systems and could therefore be readily amended to suit individual users.
