Brings back information on the most recently released item on the Everygamegoing website. What is returned is exactly the same as that of the call to getItemByItemID as the system actually uses that call to return the information on the most recently released item.

This call does not require any parameters. However, it will accept an optional parameter to filter by the most recently released item for a given [machine_type_id] if you wish.

Refer to the table in getItemByItemID for more information on what the key->value pairs designate.

If you wish to get the most recently released item for a particular machine, add the [machine_type_id] to the end of the call. For example, substitute 7 for [machine_type_id]:

http://www.everygamegoing.com/api/v1/getMostRecentlyReleasedItem/[machine_type_id]

to receive the most recently released item for the Acorn Electron (Machine Type ID 7).

You may need to call getAllMachines() to discover the Machine Type ID that you need.
