getMostRecentlyAddedItemsForSale

Brings back an array containing items most recently added to the shop on the Everygamegoing site.

Note: If no items are available for the given parameters, the response will be an empty array.

Note: This command brings back a maximum of 50 results.

There are no mandatory parameters for this call. Hitting the following URL:

http://www.everygamegoing.com/api/v1/getMostRecentlyAddedItemsForSale/

will return something like the following JSON response:

{
	"response":

	]
}

The response is an array of key->value pairs:

Key Human-readable Explanation Value Data Type Value Example
date_modified Date Listed String 2016-08-25 08:09:00
username Username String dave_e
show_title Show Title String Fun And Games
machine_type_group_name Stated Compatibility String Dragon 32
price Price String 2.95
machine_type_id Machine Type ID Integer 1
sales_item_id Sales Item ID Integer 1177
item_id Item ID Integer 12265
machine_type_group_id Machine Type Group ID Integer 1

However, you are probably more likely to want to filter the response by using one or more of the optional parameters:

http://www.everygamegoing.com/api/v1/getMostRecentlyAddedItemsForSale/[machine_type_id]/[username]

This command filters by optional [machine_type_id] and an optional [username]. This means that you need to know the [machine_type_id] of the machine you are interested in seeing sales items for (To determine this, see getAllMachines). For example, if you wish to see the 50 most recently listed items in the shop which work on the Dragon 32, substitute 1 for [machine_type_id]

http://www.everygamegoing.com/api/v1/getMostRecentlyAddedItemsForSaleByMachineTypeID/1

At the moment, only dave_e (the site's administrator) is able to list items for sale on the Everygamegoing web site. However, the command is built to be scalable. When the ability to sell is opened to everyone, the additional parameter will allow a further filter by a known username.
